Cluj-Avram Iancu International Airport is about 7 km from the city centre, and the journey normally takes between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Here are all the ways to reach the centre comfortably — and how we make the trip easier.

Taxi

The simplest option: you will find taxis in front of the terminal. The journey to the centre usually takes 15–25 minutes. We recommend ride-hailing apps for transparent pricing and card payment.

Private transfer

If you would like someone waiting for you right at the airport exit, a private transfer is the most relaxed option — especially after a long flight or if you have a lot of luggage. At Vila Siago, an airport transfer is available on request — message us in advance and we will take care of it.

Bus

Public transport routes connect the airport to the city at a low price. This is the budget option, suitable if you have little luggage and time to spare. Check the current route and timetable before you set off.

By car

If you are arriving in your own or a hire car, the centre is a few minutes away, but bear in mind that parking in the centre is limited. If you are coming by car, Siago Apartments offers free private parking — leave the car and explore on foot.

Once in the centre

Once you reach the historic centre, you are a few steps from everything: accommodation, restaurants, sights. Vila Siago and Siago Apartments are both in the central area, so from the airport you have just one short journey to make.
